According to a latest report on the world's 50 most beautiful islands released annually by global travel website 'Big 7 Travel', Sri Lanka has been named the 'World's Most Beautiful Island' for the year 2025, and Sri Lanka has been awarded the first place as the 'World's Most Beautiful Island' for the year 2025. 

Featuring destinations from around the world, the list celebrates unique island experiences and attractions to explore in 2025. 
This year’s ranking represents a mix of new trending destinations, remote resorts and popular destinations. 
The list is compiled based on a cumulative score based on contributions from the previous Big 7 Travel editorial team, media results, the popularity of the world’s travel destinations on social media and the destinations that will capture the attention of travelers in 2025.
